Cargo Officer (SS648:2024, up to $5,000)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee cargo operations, including loading, bunker delivery, blending, and compliance with company procedures, particularly SS648:2024, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Implement effective custody control procedures for cargo storage and movement on bunker tankers, maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory logs and daily ROB reports.
• Address and report any customer concerns or disputes to the Operations Manager, providing support during onsite investigations.
• Perform additional tasks as required to support operational efficiency and compliance with company policies.

Requirements:

• Basic & Advanced Course on Bunkering Practices (SS600 & TR 48) and Code of Practice for Bunker Mass Flow Metering (SS 648:2024) Certified
• At least 2 years of onboard bunker tankers experience as bunker clerk or cargo officer.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards, quality assurance, and best practices to ensure proper cargo management, custody control, and documentation in bunkering operations.

Salary: $4,000 to $5,000
