Marine Salvage Assistant Engineer (COC Class 3, West)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide crucial support to the Salvage Master/Project Manager during emergency responses, ensuring efficient coordination and execution of salvage operations on-site.
• Contribute to the enhancement of salvage capabilities by assisting in the selection and maintenance of state-of-the-art equipment and establishing effective maintenance protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to troubleshoot and restore complex ship systems, sharing knowledge and insights to optimize operational outcomes during salvage missions.

Requirements:

• COC Class 3 certified
• Diploma in Marine Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience with various types of vessels and engine-room plants on modern merchant ships.

Salary: $3,000 to $4,500
