DCS Operator (West, Power Plant)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for plant operations, optimize plant performance based on equipment conditions and grid demand.
• Verify that the amount of power generated, the plant’s auxiliary load, the fuel used, and the boiler’s feed water makeup rate are all within permitted bounds.
• Identify the root causes of electrical malfunctions and conduct tests on various electrical systems and equipment
• Evaluate equipment’s issue and record any unusual occurrences.

Requirements:

• NITEC and above
• At least 1 year of experience in Power Plant or Manufacturing industry
• Knowledge in operating Distributed Control Systems (DCS), generators, boilers, and steam turbines.

Salary: $3,500 to $4,000
